My work is about many things.

I don't know what they all are.

It's about being in my studio.

It's about 3-D space

and the relationship between me

and my materials in space

          immediacy has to do with it.

it's about imperfections and                     ackwardness-

and other thngs beyond my control

while consciously trying to

shed that which is stifling or confining.

It's about “freedout” freedom.

I want my sculptures to be a place.
