Solo Exhibition and Talk at the LA Artcore Brewery Annex

A solo show by artist Tanya Kovaleski, showcasing her engaging works of sculptures and works on paper, was on display at the LA Artcore's Brewery Annex from February 1 to 25, 2007. The artist gave a talk about her work on February 11th in the gallery. One of two exhibition spaces maintained by LA Artcore, the Annex is located in the Brewery artists' complex northeast of downtown Los Angeles. The images above are of the installation.

Center for the Arts, Eagle Rock

Tanya Kovaleski, along with Jim Boutin and fellow artists, Claire Keith and Max Hendler worked with writer and director Peter Wind-Healey on the set designs for his new opera, The Tree, which was presented by The Center for the Arts, Eagle Rock and the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs, in conjunction with The Mesopotamian Opera Company, Inc. The production, ran from March 30 to April 16, 2006 at the Los Angeles Theatre Center. Kovaleski was responsible for executing Wind-Healey’s designs of the Tree, the rakes, the rake holders, the houses, the City and the City Hats.
